The Lost Children by Carolyn Cohagan
I enjoyed this book. It kind of had a Chronicles of Narnia feel to it because the main character is transported to another world through going through a shed. Once Josephine gets to this other world she must learn how to cope and plans an escape from the orphanage with her new found friend Fargus. They find the outside ruled by the Master and discover the horrible secret that the Master is using to keep himself young.
This is a good book for preteens and late elementary children.
