Whether she’s writing novels filled with faith and inspiration, books that children will love, or her weekly blog devoted to family life and faith, she loves connecting and resonating with her readers. Amy’s first novel, A Place to Call Home, a romantic suspense, debuted in 2014, and her much-loved Chincoteague Island Trilogy has won numerous literary awards. Amy lives on the Eastern Shore of Maryland with her husband, Ken, their daughters, Katie and Morgan (and sometimes their daughter and son-in-law, Rebecca and Anthony), and their dogs, Rosie and Luna. When she’s not writing, Amy can usually be found on a boat in the Chesapeake Bay or hiking in the Rocky Mountains, most often with a good book in her hand. Her latest book is Seeking Tranquility: Chincoteague Sunsets Trilogy Book 1. Christy is raising her sister Molly after their parents have died. Molly is not your typical 11 year old and helps the her sister and her friends. This is a Chrisitan book that has faith and belief always at the fore front and the main characters use their faith as a guiding light. I want to go back and read the Chincoteague Island triology and to continue with this triology. I recieved a review copy from Pump Up Your Book Tours and was not required to write a positive review.

This World of Love and Strife by Shawn Mackey

This World of Love and Strife by Shawn MackeyThis World of Love and Strife by Shawn Mackey Publisher: D.X. Varos (March 15, 2022) Category: Horror, Vampire Thriller, Dark Urban Fantasy, Paranormal Tour dates: June 16-July 22 ISBN: 978-1955065238 Available in Print and ebook, 350 pages This World of Love and Strife Description This World of Love and Strife by Shawn Mackey It is the duty of the Vanguard to protect the world from unseen demonic forces. But what if the organization falls to corruption? Their reformation is up to Cato, a disgraced former member who discovers many of the elite using their powerful positions and martial skills for ill-gotten gains rather than fulfilling their true purpose: aiding mankind in a secret war against their eternal foe. Aldous is a Vanguard who fell from grace after being stricken with vampirism by a mysterious figure known as the White Lady. His increasingly vile appetites are tolerated because his knowledge as an alchemist is vital in the Vanguard’s battle against the demons. When those desires lead to the abduction of the woman Cato loves, Cato wages a one-man war against Aldous and his werewolf henchman.

Praise This World of Love and Strife by Shawn Mackey

“While This World of Love and Strife will reach horror audiences, it also should be included in fantasy and thriller library collections as a strong example of the strengths that can emerge from a story that embraces different genres with powerful characters and scenarios that are unpredictable and engrossing.- D. Donovan, Midwest Book Review “The thrills build and build and never let up. The characters feel like real people. Even the vampires and werewolf! Best of all was the protagonist. He starts as kind of an eccentric and a bit of a jerk, but by the end I couldn't get enough of him. I highly recommend this book for people who don't mind horror with a heaping dose of action.”- John Martin, Amazon

Evita and Me by Eika Rummel

Evita and Me by Erika RummelEvita and Me by Erika Rummel Publisher: DX Varos Publishing (May 24, 2022) Category: Historical Fiction, Crime, Women’s Literature Tour Dates June 21-July 22, 2022 ISBN: 978-1955065320 Available in Print and ebook, 384 pages Evita and Me

Description Evita and Me by Erika Rummel

Evita Peron’s jewels are missing. Only three people know that they are in a vault in the Swiss Alps; Evita’s corrupt and brutal brother Juan, her bodyguard Pierre, and a teenaged girl Mona, her newest protegee. What happens if two of them team up? Like Eva herself, Mona comes from a broken family and has to make her own way. Perhaps that's why the two women feel close. Evita is at the pinnacle of success but already in the grip of a fatal illness. We see her life through the eyes of Mona and Pierre, two people she trusts -- and who betray her in the end. Or can theft and murder be justified? A story of love, adventure, and murder.

Praise For Erika Rummel

“This is a fast paced page turner. A suspenseful, thrilling roller coaster ride with lots of twisty, loopy sections. Head Games is an apt title for this enthralling read. “- Joy Renee, Joy Story “Identity’s a big theme in this work, so if you’ve ever felt you were someone other than yourself, if you thought you might like to try living in someone else’s skin, if you’ve wondered whether your friends and loved ones were not exactly who they claimed to be, then this psychological labyrinth might just be your winding road to a good read”.- Carole Giangrande, Words to Go “This was a book that grabbed me from the start. It’s a period in history that offered much to the world but also had some of man’s darkest moments. Due to that it does provide rich material for a novelist and Ms. Rummel does an excellent job of taking her reader on a dangerous journey through the twists and turns of what many faced during the time. The characters are well developed and defined. The scenes are well described and I found myself feeling like I was actually walking the streets with the characters of the book.”-Patty, Books Cooks Looks “To live during such tumultuous times would be horrible. You would have to be careful of every word that came out of your mouth. That might be easy when you are alert, but what about when you are so tired that you can’t even think? This book made me thankful that I was born in America in the 20th century. Any fan of riveting historical fiction will get lost in this book from page one.”-Lisa, Lisa’s Writopia

My Take: This book really kept my attention and it was a good Christian Thriller that deals with PTSD and humane trafficking. I look forward to conitueing this series. I listened to this book and audio and the narrator Callie Beaulieu did a really good job of reading this book. I highly reocmmend. I read this book from my person library.

From New York to Los Angeles, Lu and True get into all sorts of sticky situations. Will Lu be able to find Keanu and convince him she's the one for him? Or maybe she'll discover true love has been by her side all along... My Take: I thought this book was a cute book which would have been better without the sex and language but thats just my taste. I did know the outcome pretty early on in the book so no surprises. I personally didn't find this book overly hilarious. I would read this if you want a easy book to read and a good distraction from every day life but I debated all the way through this book about dnfing it. Really the only reason I read it was I had put it on my list of 22 books to read in 2022 and I i wanted to mark it off the list. I read this book from my own personal collection of books.

Gambling with Murder by Lida Sideris

A late-night call is all it takes for rookie lawyer Corrie Locke to kiss her day job at the movie studio goodbye, and do what she does best: flex her sweet P.I. skills and go undercover to find a senior who’s missing from a posh retirement community. One small stumbling block: skirting past security to gain inside access to the exclusive Villa Sunset. Time to call in the heavy artillery. Besides former security guard turned legal assistant—now wannabe P.I.—Veera, Corrie relies on a secret weapon: her mother, a surprisingly eager addition to Corrie’s team. Armed with enough pepper spray to take down a band of Navy Seals, Mom impersonates a senior to infiltrate the Villa, Corrie, and Veera in tow. Turns out the job’s not as easy as they’d thought. These seniors have tricks tucked up their sleeves and aren’t afraid of using them. The action gets dicey when the missing senior case turns into attempted murder by a criminal mind who’s always one step ahead. Corrie’s hot on the trail, but finds more than she bargained for…when her mother becomes a target. My Take: This is the fifth book in this series but you can read it as a stand alone. Corrie Locke is asked to find out about a missing person in a luxury retirement villiage but there are many twists and turns through the whole book. the characters are fun and Corrie's mother is a hoot. I found this book to be a very enjoyable cozy mystery and would highly recommend it. I recieved a review copy of this book and was not required to write a positive review.
