My Take: Asa the main character in this book sells antiques and is not a detective or officer of the law of any kind. He has a vision of a young woman who died about 20 years ago. He feels that he needs to solve this 20 year old cold case. He also is trying to decipher a manuscript that a friend brought that no one has been able to decipher yet. These two cases intersect in a strange way. There is a surprise at the end of the book that you don't see coming.
I received a review copy of this book from Virtual Author Book Tours and was dnot required to write a positive review.
