My Take: As anyone who has read this blog for awhile can tell I really enjoy Amish books. I live in Lancaster County, PA and I am surrounded by the Amish. I think we as a society tend to idealize the Amish and think that their lives are simple and not filled with stife or drama. But we have to realize that they are people just like us and their lives have the same elements that eveyones does. That is what I like about reading Amish books they bring these elements to life. Shelley Shepard Gray is one of the Authors that does this amazingly. This story is good from the very beginning to the very end. You may want to read the first book in the series first just so you will not be confused at the beginning. Recommend if you like Amish Books.
I received a review copy from Litfuse in exchange for my honest review.
