Amaryllis in Blueberry by Christina Meldrum

Amaryllis in Blueberry
Amaryllis is Blueberry by Christina Meldrum

From the Authors Website:
In the stirring tradition of The Secret Life of Bees and The Poisonwood Bible, Amaryllis in Blueberry explores the complexity of human relationships set against an unforgettable backdrop. Told through the haunting voices of Dick and Seena Slepy and their four daughters, Christina Meldrum's soulful novel weaves together the past and the present of a family harmed—and healed—by buried secrets.

My Take:
I was intrigued by this book.  The cover is very striking and the synopsis seemed promising.
This book was not for me.  I tried to get into it but I just couldn't.  Not that it wasn't a good book.  It just wasn't my cup of tea.

You can head over to My Friend Amy     and read what she has to say about this book.  Seems she liked it.

Also Rundpinne has a postive review.

And Words by Webb.

seems I am in the minority with this book.  LOL.  That wouldn't be the first time.

  1. It's OK to be in the minority! You just keep saying what you want to say.
