My Take:
This devotional is right up your alley if you want inspriational stories and history. The entries are divided up in daily readings with Scripture, a story, a small prayer called Patriot's Prayer and a Promise from Scripture called Patriot's Promise.
Very inspirational and helped me to remember that no matter what God is still in control and we need to trust in Him.
