A Cousin's Promise by Wanda Brunstetter

A Cousin's Promise (Indiana Cousins, Book 1) A Cousin's Promise by Wanda Brunstetter

From Publisher's Site:
Willkumm to the lush and lavish Amish country where Wanda Brunstetter’s new romantic series, Indiana Cousins, begins with A Cousin’s Promise. Loraine Miller finds herself torn between the love of two good men—Wayne Lambright who, crippled after a tragic accident, feels himself unworthy of her love; and Jake Beechy who, after having abandoned her to explore the English world, returns to renew their courtship. To which man will she pledge her love and loyalty—for better or worse, until death they do part?

My Take:  I actually think that this may be the first book I have read by Wanda Brunstetter.  I do love the Amish mystery romance genre.  This book was a nice addition.  A group of Amish youth from Inidana are headed to Hershey, Pa when a tragic accident occurss killing several of their group and injurying several others.  Laoraine's fiancee, Wayne, Loses a leg and feels like he cannot provide for a wife and breaks off the engagement.  Loraine's former beau reads about the accident and returns hoping to start where they left off.  Loraine is torn between the two and is getting advice from everyone on what she should do.  But only she can make the decision that is best for her.
although not as indepth as I usually like my books this was a nice read and would recommend it if you are just looking for an a peak into a simplier way of life that still has all the drama.
