Dewey Read A thon

Well My Hubby is still working and no baby yet so I will be starting the read a thon.  I will just update this post every hour with what I have read and how long.  Good luck to everyone.

First up is
Pumpkin Roll

Pumpkin Roll by Josi Kilpack

Intro Meme

1)Where are you reading from today? New Providence, PA
2)Three random facts about me… My birthday was on Monday, I am about to become a grandma any day now, I will be married for 27 years in May
3)How many books do you have in your TBR pile for the next 24 hours? I have 5 and will be glad if I get two done
4)Do you have any goals for the read-a-thon (i.e. number of books, number of pages, number of hours, or number of comments on blogs)? No goals really just to have fun
5)If you’re a veteran read-a-thoner, any advice for people doing this for the first time?  I have done the read a thon a couple of times,  never done the whole 24 hours but my advice is to just to have fun.

9:00  am
I only got to read for about a half an hour this last hour.  I have decided that I will listen to an audio book while I do things on the computer and when I take breaks that way I will get more done.  The book I am listening to now is
A Measure of Mercy (Home to Blessing, #1)

The Measure of Mercy by Lauraine Snelling.  This is a wonderful series that is actually several series in one.

10:00 am
Still reading the above books.  Pumpkin Roll is getting good!!

11:00 am  I just finished Pumpkin Roll.  It was great.  I will be starting

1225 Christmas Tree Lane (Cedar Cove, #12)

1225 Christmas Tree Lane by Debbie Macomber

12:00 pm  I got absolutley nothing read this last hour.  I got a phone call from my hubby so had to talk to him and daughter #1 called and Son texted  so I decided to have lunch.  i have been listening to my audio book for about the last 10 minutes though so I guess i got some done.

This hours mini challenge was to share how we like to share books.  I share on here of course and occasionally on my family blog.  I share books that I have read with several friends and with out church.  My hubby and I like to listen to the same book and talk about them.  Happy reading everyone.

1:00 pm  I took a short nap.  I am fighting a cold and I felt like I needed to rest for a little while.  Still reading the above books.

2:00 pm  I got a little more read of Christmas Tree Lane.  I will probably be able to finish it this hour.

3:00 pm Like I thought I finished 1225 Christmas Tree Lane .  Next up is

Wedding Day Murder (Lucy Stone, #8)

Wedding Day Murder by Leslie Meier.

Happy reading everyone!!

4:00 pm  Have gotten a good start to the above book.  No mystery yet but alot of things happening that could be setting up for one.

5:00 pm  Don't know how much more reading I will get done.  Hubby is coming home (he has been gone for 5 days) so I should spend some time with him.  I hope to get a little more in this evening.  hope everyone is getting alot of reading done.  I will probably update at least once more at the end of the time.  Everybody have a great night!!

7:00 pm  Okay enough catching up with my hubby.  He's tired so he will headed to bed soon.  I hope to make it until at least 12:00 am  so  back to reading for me.

9:00 pm I finished Wedding Day Murder this past hour.  I plan on starting

The Titan's Curse (Percy Jackson and the Olympians, #3)

The Titan's Curse by Rick Riordan

I probably be reading this till 12 when I plan on stopping.  I will make a separate final post tomorrow.

Happy Reading!!

    In case you're still awake:

You're reading all day and all of the night
And tomorrow morning you'll surely look a fright
But just look at those books, a magnificent sight,
If Dewey's 24 Readthon is wrong, I don't want to be right!
