My Take: My Husband and I have had this debate over the last couple of years about whether we should celebrate Christmas with the tree and the presents etc. We homeschooled our kids and they were always brought up with the true meaning of Christmas and the true story of Santa but we still had the tree and presents etc. Now that it is just the two of us here at home we have been taking a closer look at all the trimmings and wrappings that Christmas has become. For us it is about getting together with family and about telling our grandkids what the celebration is all about. But there are still presents and tree and everything. I will be taking what I have learned in this book and try to become more Christ-like in our celebration.
