Book Blogger Hop and Christmas Reading Lists for Challenges

Book Blogger Hop Time!!!  Yay  I love hopping around and finding new blogs to follow.

Question of the Week
"If you find a book that looks interesting but is part of a series, do you always start with the first title?"
Not always.  I usually prefer to read a series in order but if I see a book that I think is interesting I will read it.  Many times I will go back and read any books that I haven't read in the series but that doesn't stop me from reading a book I really want to read.

I am taking part in two Christmas Reading Challenges this Year
They are:

This one runs from November 15th (that's this Monday) through December 31st

  1. Hello I am a new follower from the Hop. I see we like the same books. Love the blog. I have a few of the books you want and they are great. I love the amish books and Joanne Fluke among others.

  2. I can dive right into the middle of a book series if the series' story
    doesn't run chronologically.

That is to say, if each novel in a series is a stand-alone story (like Lee
Child's Reacher novels) then I don't feel the need to start with book one.

On the other hand, a series of books (like Richard Hatch's Battlestar
Galactica novels) can't be read out of sequence since each new book builds
upon the story of the previous entry in the series.

    Happy Book Blogger Hop Friday!
