Do you judge a book by its cover?
Sometimes I do if I am at a book story or online. Never if it is by a favorite author but some of my favorite authors I started reading because I picked up one of their books because of the cover.
Stopping by via the hop...I think it depends - there's a place and time when book covers come into play as to if I will read the book.

It's true, if the book is by one of my favorite authors, the cover doesn't matter at all to me.

Just hopping by. Great point about favourite authors. I'm the same way. Although if there are different covers by the same author I always take the better looking one. Great blog.
