My Take: I came in late to this series but I will definately be going back and picking up the first four books. I don't mind reading a book in series even if it isn't the first book if the book can stand on it's own. This book had a lot of thrills and adventure and you will keep reading to find out what happens next. I am new to the party when it comes to Patricia Bradley but I am quickly becoming a fan and look forward to reading more of her books. So Far they have been a hit every time. IF you like your mysteries with action and a bit of faith thrown in this just may be the author for you and you can't go wrong with starting with this book. I received a review copy of this book from Partners in Crime Book Tours and was not required to write a positive review.
