My Take:  First off you will want to read the first one in this series, Glamorous Illusions.  This is definitely a series that you need to read in order.  Lisa Bergren does a truly amazing job of describing all the wonderful places that the characters in this series gets to see.  I would love to have means and time to visit Europe and take in all the history.  There is a bit of suspense and intrigue in this book also.  This series has alittle bit of everything for everyone. Romance, suspense and intrigue all wrapped up in one story.  Cora has several decisions to make which if she makes the wrong ones there will be Grave Consequences like the title implies.  Who can Cora Trust?  Who will she stay with?
